- Q.) How do I make money selling airline tickets? Do they pay commission anymore?
- A.) Most airlines have cut out the commission altogether. You may need to book airline tickets for your clients but don't spend time and effort trying to sell airline tickets. There's just no money in doing it with adding fee's. You'll earn more money (with less effort) booking group vacations and cruises. With a client who wants an airline ticket, you may add on a small agency-booking fee to the cost of the ticket.

It's free to download, you don't have to purchase a plan to get faxes sent to you. There are fax services available if you don't want to invest in a fax machine, but a good multi-use machine that will serve as your fax machine and printer, scanner, and more, have become very affordable.
- Q.) Do I use YOUR name or MINE for my business?
- A.) You will use YOUR business name on your business cards, not ours. You do not work for us... this is YOUR business. You are an independent contractor affiliated with us. If you need help in coming up with a name for your business, VIP Travel Team can offer suggestions. Most people have no problem thinking of a name for their business. Just be absolutely sure the name you choose is not already in use by someone else.

- Q.) Can I get a CLIA or IATAN card?
- A.)Due to recent developments in the cruise and travel industry we have been asked to put into effect a plan that defines our agents’ ability to receive a Travel Agent cards (CLIA and IATA). There have been several major agencies (YTB, JOYSTAR etc.) that have been deemed card mill agencies for giving out these cards to agents that have not hit specific requirements. Several of the agencies have lost there license to sell Royal, Celebrity, Princess, Disney etc. These cards are for agents who have been in the field selling travel as a profession for some time. It has been called unfair for agencies to give out card to agents who have just entered the field and have not met certain criteria. Below are our AGENCY and industry requirements to receiving such industry cards CLIA OR IATA. Click Here for More Information.
